Santa visits ISB ~

After having stayed in Minneapolis for a while where the whole city is covered with white sheet of snow and is so beautifully illuminated during Christmas that it looks like a scene from a fairy tale, the decoration in India doesn't impress me anymore.  But then festivities are also about celebrating with your dear ones - so apart from the not so impressive decoration, we still had a lot of fun celebrating Christmas our very special way. Exchanging gifts and warm hugs and getting clicked with the Santa - it sure was a very memorable one!

Here is a DIY Kit which I made recently - these are my fav flowers and I sure need to have a big heart to give these away. Please inbox me - in case you are interested in this.

Another DIY Kit

Heres another DIY Kit - you can make bookmarks, cards, gift tags that have a beautiful quilled flower in a pot and a cute lady bug using the material...or just be creative and make something on your own. It also includes bright car stock paper (5" x 8" size)
Drop me a message at in case you are interested in the Kit.

When I started making cards , I used to get very amazed by how others did their cards so neatly and beautifully and I always used to get tempted by the stuff they use on the cards. So, I came up with this idea of sharing my goodies that I use ~

Here is the first DIY kit that I have made - you can use these to make beautiful cards. Please inbox me at if you are interested.

Celebrating togetherness ~

Sometimes all you need is a hand to hold and a heart to understand ~ I feel truly blessed to have both..

As this year draws to a close...

.....its time to spend some quiet time and reflect on what gifts, joys and learning's the year has given you. For me the yr has been a Life changer - moving to Hyd has been one of the most wonderful things that happened to me this year and I am very thankful for that. Its pure awesomeness to be living this experience and making friends with an awesome bunch of people. Lots of dreams, wishes and hopes have come true this year. ~  There are things that have brought me down but now if I look at the bigger picture - those lows were very little and have only helped me look at the brighter side of life!
Life is busy and will only get busier, but do spend sometime to reflect back on the year that just went by in a wink. Just pause for a moment - be Thankful for all the goodness that this year gave you.
A beautiful envelope I made for a close frend who had to go for her cousins wedding ~

Purple Magic ~

While the days are getting darker and shorter - Its getting brighter at 'Eenzy Beenzy'! I am working on a few things that I had been waiting for long - what a relief it is to strike off stuff which has been sitting on your to do list for long. What I have realized is if you just plan one important task for your day and get it done without ifs and feel really good about your day!
The placement fever is on at ISB so the better halves are busy with the late night sessions - thats when I put on my fav music, get a cup of chocolate milk and sneak into my craft corner and spend as much time as I want doing what I love doing most!
Here is what I made today - the side glittery strips are from Itsy Bitsy! I love the soothing shades in this one, I left the card empty for the sentiment so that I could customize it later!

Quiet Days ~

Its almost December - and it feels good that I do not have to bear the Delhi cold or the Minneapolis snow this time. I am in love with the Hyderabad weather - bright sunny days followed by pleasant evenings.  But what I don't like is that days are shorter and quieter - and by the time I finish office its already dark and ISB has gotten quieter with the placement season approaching.
I think everyone around feels the same as well - so I did this creativity event at ISB where in people post their creative stuff and the one who gets the max likes gets the goodies. This has really helped me keep my energy high - spreading the creative bug. :)

A quilled envelop I did today to spend my quiet Sunday evening.

Celebrations ~

Today is the day when I came into this beautiful world - not much of a celebration coz after an age I think we should stop making a big deal out of birthdays and celebrate it in our own special ways.  So my dear husband decorated the corner with balloons - what a beautiful morning it was. Rest of the day went pretty well - not much of a celebration but just ....Happiness! in our own lil ways.
My friend had requested for a birthday card for his close friend, so thats the best I do when it comes to making cards for guys - the wine glass ornaments makes it look perfect!

Cutest Card Ever ~

I had been longing to make this card but had been super busy with office stuff that dint get a chance! Recently there was a custom order so I picked this design. She was so elated after looking at the card - it was no where close to what she thought I'd make.
I had so much troubles parting with this card! I have put in all my heart in making this card. I hope you love the card as much as I do.

Another Quilling workshop @ISB

This weekend I did another workshop for the girls @ ISB , those who missed the first one! Here are a few pics , I absolutely enjoyed teaching them as they all get addicted to quilling.

Here is a card I made for the Women in Business Club here at ISB , they presented this Thank You note to the Chairman of Bank of India who had come to deliver a session here!

Here is the picture from the session Mrs Vijayalakshmi R Iyer gave - I feel truly blessed to have gotten appreciation from her for the tiny lil card I did.

O' Happy day

As a beautiful long weekend comes to close - I spend some quiet time sipping my coffee and reflecting on the past few weeks - things have moved so quickly that I hardly got time for myself and my blog. I did not stop quilling all this while but havnt got enough time to post it here.
So, I did another quilling workshop and it was very amazing to share my self learnt skill - what I like more is that my students surprise me with very beautiful creations. I love to see them all addicted to quilling! I will post some pics from the workshop in my next post. Here are the tiny cards I gave away to everyone - I used the left over paper I had ... and see how cute they look! Here are some of the creations my friends did -  Love,

Quilling workshop @ ISB

Finally its Friday evening - I had been waiting for it since Monday. My office has been keeping me very busy during the week days so I love the weekends when I have all the time to myself. Finish of any pending orders and hop on to my blog.
So last weekend I did this workshop at ISB for the spouses and it was a big hit. Everyone was very enthusiastic to learn and experiment. Here are a few pictures from the workshop.

Also I did this card for a customer - who told me what he wanted on the card and I am glad I could make it with the limited resources I have at hand right now. Everything on the card is handcrafted with a lot of love except for the girl for which I use the sticker and the sentiment which I printed.

Thank You ~

This weekend was pretty relaxed - after a long long time I could do just what I wanted to - wake up late, go out shopping , eating and hanging around with friends, watching movies and just spend time with myself.  I also did this workshop for the girls here at ISB and I was very happy with the number of girls that came in, everyone seemed very excited to learn the new skill. I will post the pics of the workshop in my next post.
This one is a very special 'Thank You' my friend requested for. This one he presented to one big guy who had come to deliver a session at ISB. *feeling very very happy* Hope you guys love it as much as I do!

Another awesome day ~

Today I had this chance of attending the strategy class at ISB - I totally enjoyed it and it sure was a brilliant start of the day :)
A neat 'Thank You' card I made for someone we had invited for dinner - I never miss a chance to spread my love thru these pretty cards!

Tiny lil things ~

I have this habit of reading something good as I sip my morning coffee to kick start my day on a positive note! Just felt like sharing what I was reading this morning - "we should see Life as a series of adventures - learn something , explore the world, broaden your horizons, expand your circle of experience and friends and keep all your options open -  you never know which one brings something really awesome in your Life!"
Some tiny cards which I did just to get my mind off my hectic schedule at work - cute they are. I am so in love with quilling - cant tell you how much it makes me feel happy and at peace with myself! :)
