Present Moment..Wonderful Moment!

The past is gone and the future no one knows. So all we have is this very moment...grab it, enjoy it, live it.
Before you know it , it shall pass.

Life moves on pretty fast! We are caught up with the daily chores of life — cleaning up, laundry, cooking etc until that one day we realize where did all the time go. And in the rush of things we forgot to Live, we kept postponing those things that were close to our heart just because we were so busy.

The only way to Life fully is to….slow down and immerse yourself into every task that you do (not thinking about the past, not worrying about what future holds).

Here are a few pointers that can help minimize the past and the future thoughts and bring you to ‘Now’

~ Do one thing at a time— When walking, walk. When eating, eat.

~ Act Slowly— Don’t rush. Just for a few minutes deliberately slow down while doing regular chores like feel how the soap feels on your skin, how the water is warm/cold on your skin while you do the dishes.

~ Don’t be too busy — Say No to unimportant tasks, thats the only way to keep your to-do list minimal. You could be more aware of how you use your time by using a planner.

~ Do nothing — Just for 10 mins during the day, do nothing. Be aware of your breath and your thoughts. Some call it meditation.

~ Stop worrying — Know what is bothering you and take steps to work on it. Worrying about anything won’t help, it would only take away your energy and enthusiasm. Like they say ‘We suffer more in imagination than reality’.

You got one Life, Craft it your way!
